Digimon Subs

So here you are… waiting for the Wild Bunch to release some Digimon Tamer subs. So what can you do while you wait? Watch more Digimon subs, of course! Even if you’ve seen the dubs years ago, watching the subs can sometimes be a whole different story. So go on, watch some more Digimon!

Digimon Adventure

So for Adventure, the first of five current Digimon series, you can waltz on over to Ryuu-Rogue for some great subs.

Follow Taichi and Agumon, Yamato and Gabumon, and all of the other Chosen Children on their original adventure through the Digital World.

Seven kids at summer camp are unexpectedly transported by Digivices to a colorful and enigmatic world. Lost and alone, they are befriended by small digital monsters, Digimon. The kids and their Digimon partners quickly become inseparable, and the little creatures guide their human friends through the wondrous Digital World, protecting them from the hordes of evil Digimon. The group soon discovers that some of the giant Digimon they encounter are not evil Digimon but good Digimon gone bad. A dark power is corrupting even the most gentle of Digimon by embedding Black Gears into them, turning them into vicious monsters. Creating chaos and destruction wherever it goes, the evil power threatens all of Digital World. As they try to find their way back home, the seven kids are drawn further and further into the mystery. Through teamwork and trust, they help their newfound Digimon friends evolve from “monsters in training” to giant champions that must save the Digital World from the powerful evil intent on destroying it (from AniDB).

Digimon Adventure Zero Two

Digimon Adventure Zero Two

So you’ve watched the first series? Go onto the second! Digimon Adventure Zero Two is a sequel to the first.

There are many ways for you to come upon subs for this. One way is to visit FUNimation’s video portal. There you can watch free, legal subs straight from Toei (the animators of Digimon) themselves! You can also watch the same subs over at Crunchyroll. Don’t like streaming? Want to own the episodes? Crunchyroll also has an option where you can buy-to-download-to-own episodes of Zero Two. You can buy single episodes for $1.99 or buy the first 25 for $39.99 (saves you 10 bucks if you do). You are given direct downloads of an XviD version (which can play on your computer, 360, most DVD players, and other things), a PSP version, and an iPod version of each episode with your purchase. So go at it! Support the Digimon industry.

Three years have passed since Taichi, Takeru, and Hikari’s original adventure, but a new threat arrives in the peaceful DigiWorld – the Digimon Kaiser intends on enslaving the Digimon for his own purposes. Hikari and Takeru, two of the original Chosen Children, return and are joined by three newcomers: Daisuke, Miyako, and lori. Together they go to the Digital World and with their Digimon partners Tailmon, Patamon, V-mon, Hawkmon and Armadillomon fight the new menace to save the Digital World they love (from FUNimation).

Digimon Tamers

Digimon Tamers

Digimon Tamers is what we, the Wild Bunch, are here to sub. Tamers has nothing to do with the first two series and deals more with the Digimon harming the Real World than that of the Digital World. Subs for this are available now on this website.
PositronCannon has completed the series, translating episodes 1-40 from the Spanish dub, with editing help from cardslash02 for episodes 41-51. Feel free to follow whichever group you prefer, but please do not bash either one. None of us deserve that.

Takato Matsuda, Jianliang Lee, and Ruki Makino are children who have, by fate, recieved real Digimon; unlike the imaginary ones in the card game they play. Each of the children, or “Digimon Tamers”, have their different views on how Digimon should be treated. But when other Digimon begin to appear around Japan, they must put aside their differences to fend off the digital intruders; even though Yamaki, who is the head of a secret organization called Hypnos is trying to eliminate all of the Digimon himself (from AnimeNewsNetwork).

Digimon Frontier

Digimon Frontier… a series even I have yet to watch. The series takes place mostly in the Digital World (unlike Tamers), and there are no Digimon Partners (unlike the other series). The humans themselves become legendary Digimon and try to return home while at the same time defending the Digital World. So yeah, a different approach of Digimon.

If you want Frontier subs, there is currently only one option for them. Go to WPP and pick up their old, low-quality subs. Hopefully someday, somebody will take it upon themselves to resub this series using DVDs as the base and not TV RAWs.

Five children receive strange messages on their cell phones that lead them to a train that takes them to the “Digital World”; a strange world filled with bizzare creatures called “Digimon”. These children have been sent there to stop an evil Digimon named Cherubimon from completely annihilating the planet of all its inhabitants. In order to accomplish this, the 5 children must locate their “spirits”, which will evolve them into the Legendary Warrior Digimon. Unfortunately for them Cherubimon has ordered his servants to stop the kids from finishing the mission; eventually the children will have to fight Cherubimon’s forces in order to save the planet.

With five new kids and an exciting new mission in the Digital World, Digimon Frontier brings back all the great action and adventure of the last three seasons. Takuya, Kouji, Izumi, Junpei. and Tomoki meet each other in a train that takes them to the Digital World where a war against evil is being fought. The Angel digimon, Cherubimon, one of The three angels sent to save the World from the power-hungry Lucemon, has turned to the dark side and the entire Digital World is in peril. To fight this great battle, the five CHOSEN ONES must become digimon. Something that no digidestined has done before (from AnimeNewsNetwork).

Digimon Savers

Ah, the newest Digimon series. After Frontier, Digimon went on a hefty break… to the point some thought Digimon was over and no more series were to be produced. Toei then pops up and gives up Digimon Savers. Savers goes back to the partner Digimon approach the first three series had, but aside from that gives a new groove to Digimon. The kids in the show are older. In their early teens rather than Elementary School-age. Outside of Japan the series titled “Digimon Data Squad” and is the first series not to only be called “Digimon” and then stick a “season #” on it.

For subs of Savers, you can go over to DATS for subs from TV RAWS or once again to Ryuu-Rogue for DVD subs based off DATS’s subs.

Masaru, is a second year Junior High student, and is undefeated in battle, He meets the Digital Monster Agumon, who has escaped from DATS, a secret government organization. Despite terrible first impressions, the two become best friends by talking with their “fists”. With others, Masaru and Agumon work to investigate various incidents involving the Digital World and Digital Monsters, to try and get to the bottom of things (from AnimeNewsNetwork).

Hope this helps aid anyone in their search for Digimon subs. The Wild Bunch should be active soon… giving Digimon Tamers the subs it needed years ago!

you have restored my faith in life, im 14 and have just begun watchin digimon again it just takes me back to when ii was a little kid nd life seemed so much simpler i prefer the first 2 seasons nd ive got the movie on dvd nd ive got a link that lets u ndownload eny episode from the first three seasons its glad to know there are people like you out there digimon just sets of sumthing inside me nd speaks to me nd connects uno?

  3. The ones from Toei really suck, though. I’ll give the quickest example. “Erabashii Kodomotachi” aka Chosen Children… is subbed as Digidestined. They use dub terms as often as not, and even Digimon whose names are said in English will sometimes get subbed with their dub names.

However, I’m someone who is able to put up with Hong Kong subs so I do recommend buying them… but don’t take the subs as the end word. A lot of them are wrong at least in regards to terminology.

Hey, can anybody seed Digimon Tamers episodes 1-5 (The torrent shows up as “tamers” or “tamersavi”)? Once I get it downloaded I’ll leave it up to seed for a few months to help it get around. Thank you whoever is generous! ^_^

    • onkeikun permalink

You can always download it directly from the hosts we have in our Releases page…

      • Ice permalink

Hey, thanks for that. I’m just finishing downloading the last file now. I’ve used them to supliment the torrent files and I’ll be leaving it up to seed the .mkv version for the next few months.

I tried to find the first season of digimon through the link you posted and it states thats its not there. Any idea what happened?

  6. Daobs_ permalink

I wonder if anyone will sub Digimon Xros Wars. Can’t wait for it to start!

    • onkeikun permalink

Ryuu-Rogue has plans to sub it at the moment. That’s all I know for certain. Most of us (the people in Ryuu-Rogue) are admittedly not very enthusiastic about the details that have been released so far, though. It’ll depend on how well we like the first episode.

  7. Daobs_ permalink

Yeah, after seeing the promo pics they makes me think it will be a show for younger kids. All the new Digimon seam like robot toys… Still, I’ll watch it no matter what, since it’s Digimon ^^ And i’m really glad to know Ryuu-Rogue is planing to sub it. Thank you Onkeikun-sama!

  8. lol, just noticed that the link to my LJ up there is broken… not like it matters since I removed the Tamers stuff months ago anyway, but just pointing it out. 😛 Might as well just remove it then, the less people I have asking me about my Tamers subs, the better. :V

And just to state the obvious, great work on the series so far. 😀

  9. Chiv permalink

Hey, great work on the subs =D

Btw, was wondering if the subs for tamers are stopped? Coz I can only see 15 eps of it :/

  10. Daobs permalink

I’m not sure, but i believe this site/project has died. I just wish they released an announcement telling people how the project is or isn’t going… It would make me sad, but at least i wound’t have any more hopes ;p

    • Jacob permalink

Hey guys, just thought I’d point out that Frontier is being subbed by PositronCannon using higher quality RAWs than the old WPP subs used. He’s got the first fifteen episodes done thus far at and I think he’s releasing them once a week.

@Daobs The project isn’t dead, it’s just that their editor apparently has a lot going on and hasn’t been able to find the time to work on the project, or something like that. I do know that they would’ve made a definite announcement if they were planning to stop subbing altogether.

  11. Melissa permalink

Hey guys thanks so much! =) Hope to see a new episode soon. ❤

  12. estevan permalink

does anybody know where i can get all 54 episode of Digimon Xros Wars season 1 in 160 avi format

  13. maxx permalink

do these torrents include the digimon movie? that is what got me into digimon in the first place then digimon tamers and back again with xros wars.. still have the old OP/digimon tamers mini poster on my wall… good times…

  14. I’m not sure, but none of these links go anywhere to the Digimon Subs except for Season 2, but can’t download those. Could it be possible they have been deleted permanently?

    • wildbunchsubs permalink

It’s possible that links have been moved. When I have a day free, I plan to rewrite this section.

  15. Thanks. It was surprising when I saw them on here last year and then they were gone. Glad the RAWS are still in place though. I think once I learn Japanese I’ll translate the RAWS so we don’t have to worry about it. I unfortunately didn’t start downloading things till late this year.

  16. ukaisha permalink

Most of the links lead to torrents that are either dead or in severe want of seeds. If anyone who has torrented some of these in the past would be willing to reseed again, I for one would appreciate it; I’m trying to recover Savers and Adventure after losing my old computer and the torrent’s been dead for days. After I complete these I’ll certainly seed as long as I can to try and keep these torrents alive.

If you can update this page plenty of new subs have been released.
