[RELEASE] Digimon Xros Wars II – 12 (66) H264 & XViD
The twelfth episode of Digimon Xros Wars: The Boy Hunters Who Leap Through Time!
A short explanation on this episode:
• Digimen means “Digi-noodles” and a pun on Digimon.
• Real ramen is made from scratch, from everything in the soup to the noodles. Real ramen is defined by the kind of noodles it has (there are different varieties based on what sort of flour it’s made from, and the chewiness of the noodle) and the soup it’s in. Instant ramen is not real ramen.
Noodles are made by pounding the noodle dough until it reaches a certain thickness/hardiness, before they are cut into equal lengths. The soup is made using dashi (fish soup stock) as the base. Dashi is just a fancy word for the water that’s strained out after it’s been boiled with a number of ingredients. In this episode, the dashi was made with dried bonito flakes (katsuobushi), smoked mackerel (sababushi), dried sardines (niboshi), kelp (kombu), dried shrimp (hoshiebi), scallops (kaibashira), and the addition of hoshi-shiitake dashi (the water that dried shiitake mushroom is soaked in overnight).

I’m gonna get hungry watching this, aren’t I? >_>
Is your keyboard fixed now?
MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone at Wild Bunch~! ♥
(taking the .avi as always – using the MU link through multiupload.)
Thanks for releasing the AVI on time, I am downloading it from MediaFire as usual.
Hooboy. Another food-themed filler episode.
First, Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki. Now Ramen.
Happy Holidays.
Thank you so much for getting this out to us despite your keyboard problems. xx
Happy holidays!
Just noticed that the English captions at 00:14 are the wrong way around.
That’s what I get for not paying attention. Thanks

Thanks a bunch (no pun intended) for the ep. and the explanation.
Thank you thank you thank you!! You Guys!!! You are the Coolest!!
Keep it up minna!!
Merry Christmas to all! Wish you have Great holidays!!
Thanks for the work, and Merry Christmas!
Great release as always
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to the Wild Bunch team in advance
YAY! You guys are the best!!! Thanks for the release of yet another fantastic episode! It’s so enjoyable and enlightening that you provide us with some Japanese cultural knowledge. In my Japanese 101 class, they’re supposed to teach us culture, but what it ends up being is a five-minute spiel on one micro-aspect of Japan. And we only get one of those per chapter! Learning 5 chapters a semester, one can figure that we’re not taught much.
Thanks Wild Bunch!
…I swear this looks like a plot ripped right out of pokemon… What happened to this show? I… just…
I can’t really put my disappointment in this season in proper words…
Nearly every Digimon series has had an episode related to helping Digimon prepare food.
Adventures – Grilled fish? Or Matt’s fried eggs?
02 – Noodles in Chinatown.
Tamers – Wine?
Frontier – Hamburgers?
Savers – More fried eggs.
Xros Wars – The most blatant one is the Iron Chef esque battle at Sweets Zone
7 Generals – Do we even have 1?
Hunters – More noodles.
Guess Hunters is really trying to mimic 02. Don’t tell me they’ll bring the card games back the next season.
Tamers – more like bread, since Takato’s parents own a bakery shop
7 generals is, for all intents and purposes, the same season as Xros Wars. We’ve never had a digimon generation less than 2 official anime seasons long, it’s just that we usually don’t have a change in subtitle like that.
Eh, maybe the whole “lack of plot” thing is starting to get to me then. I’m even forgetting that this is a series staple… but still, given the AMB feel to TYT, it really seemed more in-your-face in this episode… to me, at least.
Thankyou for thus guys, will the MKV be uploaded to megaupload later?
If you click the multiupload link it will take you to a megaupload link.

Next Episode is a Galaxy Express/Ginga Tetsudo parody?
Thanks for the release. Happy New Year people!!
Thanks so much, you guys rule!
And happy new year! : )
When is the next episode coming out?
The next episode to be broadcasted (ep 14) will be next Sunday on the 8th. Our encoder is away from his computer until the 5th or so, so we will be releasing both ep 13 and 14 next week.
-onkeikun
the episode following this one was about a boy and his locomon and was broadcast on december 25th, where’s that one? :/
actually i didnt read that properly, forget i said anything lol
Okay, so I have what may be a stupid question…
I just recently acquired this laptop, and it’s running Vista. When I DL .mkv files, like this episode, subtitles don’t show up! Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong? I have CCCP installed; on my previous computer(which died), I played .mkv files in Media Player Classic. On this laptop, Media Player Classic won’t open .mkvs for some reason, they instead only open in Windows Media Player. What can I do to make subtitles show up? Sorry for the ignorance – been watching subs for YEARS on all my past computers and I’ve never run into this problem!
Right-click the file, select “Properties”
Looks beside “Open with”
I’m assuming it will say WM Player, so select “Change…”
If Media Player Classic is not displayed, select “Browse” to search for MPC in the CCCP folder in Programs (or whatever folder you installed it to)
Hopefully that should fix it.

Is there an actual storyline behind hunters? because I know it’s only been 13 eps but I feel like they arent even trying to figure out the bigger picture like they should be. They haven’t even had a proper villain (the other hunters don’t count really), chances are the other 3 will join them eventually when things go really bad and nothing is really making sense atm :-/
Currently there is no consistent story besides monster of the week. I can only suggest that you keep watching until you either decide to stick with it or drop it.
-onkeikun
well i’ve never given up on a series of Digimon and Hunters HAS been good but usually by now they would at least have given you hints at what was going on. My main confusion is Shoutmon was supposed to be coming to find out why Digimon were vanishing and turning up in DigiQuartz and so far hasn’t investigated at all lol.
Wild Bunch staff, I’ve noticed that in some episodes there’s a glitch on the credits with some voice actors’ names not being translated. Could you guys fix that n next releases?
It may look irrelevant for some, but I’m a Wiki editor and I still don’t know Japanese, and this information is neccessary for us.
Which episodes? I’ve checked every one before release and as far as I’m concerned, they’re translated. Maybe you haven’t looked carefully enough.
-onkeikun
64, 65 and 66. On these three, there’s a missing voice actor on the last line of the two screens with cast list, and maybe also a misplaced voice actor on the penultimate lines.
Please, fix this on the next releases.
They’re all there and correct. I’m not sure what you’re looking at.
-onkeikun
Ok, saw it without subs… Tai and the others are in episode 15… -_- I hate that, waiting, everyone is wants to see it and then only in the last scence, you can see them… But its a good episode without that, too. I like to see all hunters.
Hi. If you’re going to write a spoiler, make sure you highlight it in BIG LETTERS. Some people don’t want to read comments like yours that ruin their anticipation. Let’s respect other people’s ways.
-onkeikun
Okay, I know what happened, it’s because of the way they are lined up. Look: http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii359/G-SANtos/Subsmislining.png
This is what confused me. I think you guys should put “Voice actors” on top of everything.
That’s strange as they line up in the correct order for me. http://imageshack.us/f/824/wildbunchdigimonxroswar.jpg/
It could be because you don’t have the fonts we’re using? I’m not sure, this is out of my knowledge area. For that one, we use DFPGothic-UB font.
Let me know if that hasn’t fixed it.
-onkeikun
It only happens for those three episodes.
What media player do you use to watch videos? It’s possible that something isn’t reading the typeset properly.
To answer your immediate question though, no, I won’t be changing how the voice actors are lined up when it appears perfectly okay to me and the rest of the team. This is a problem affecting your end.
-onkeikun
I just checked and it works correctly on Windows Media Player. The problem seems to be VLC, which I was using recently to get pictures for Digimon Wiki.
What’s the status on episode 13 and 14 btw??
I NEED those two last episodes today or I won’t make it to the next morning, so please hurry up, there is not much time left!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAA
Time is up. Now, have you learned to not hurry them?
Are you referring to me possibly?
Yes, I am.
I’ve never liked the food themed episodes that all Digimon seasons have, and this one was certainly no exception. It also frustrates me that Tagiru gets ALL of the Digimon. Come on, both of them? Yuu should have at LEAST gotten ONE -_-
